Up Tied was an American textile house specialising in tie-dyed fabrics They won a special Coty Award for "major creativity in fabrics" in 1970. Halston revolutionized the way women dress and is one of the few designers, alongside Claire McCardell and Norman Norell, to define what is American fashion.
